Why hire a wedding coordinator or day-of coordinator?
Couples without a wedding planner can easily spend up to 900 hours in wedding planning; that’s equivalent to a full time job for six months! If you have that kind of time, then you probably only need a day of wedding coordinator to manage your plans. Too often, brides rely on family and friends to help carry out plans on the day of their wedding. By asking a friend or family member to take on this stressful task, that person will not be able to enjoy the event as a guest, and will end up feeling like “event staff.” In most cases, your “volunteers” have little experience in the role of event planner. They often end up feeling overwhelmed as they try to keep on top of everything that must be done to ensure that the day runs smoothly.
What separates your from other wedding coordinators?
As your wedding coordinator, I will go above and beyond the execution of your wedding day. I will be your listening ear and sound board. I will offer guidance on event décor, bridal party responsibilities, wedding myths and traditions, wedding party gift ideas and more!
Do you have my date available?
Before our initial meeting, I will request information like date, location, expectations, etc. At this time, I will be able to tell you if you date is available.
When should I hire a wedding coordinator?
Anytime! My rates cover you whether you are 12 months away or 12 weeks! I recommend we get started no later than two months out.
Is there a minimum wedding budget required to work with me?
Absolutely not! I don’t discriminate based on one’s financial situation. I can help anymore, regardless of budget.
Do I need a wedding planner if I already have a venue coordinator?
Venue coordinators are a great asset, but it’s important to remember that their responsibility is first and foremost to the venue. For instance, while the venue coordinator will be mostly concerned that no damages occur to the facilities during the load-in, I will be focused on making sure that none of your orders are forgotten.
